From the Collaboratory

Okay, so the truth of the matter is a few weeks ago I had a really bad experience shooting a wedding. Punches were thrown and bride and groom both ended up in tears. Since then, I haven't taken many photos or learned much.

But it's Labor Day weekend, time to climb back in the saddle and get back to work - or enjoy one last hurrah before we do.

So, in honor of the occasion, here's a small tribute to the workers of the world and the photographers who capture the beauty of their efforts.

Nakedeye17 (Su) thinks of photography as a wake-up call: "Hey, everybody! Are you seeing this?" She loves to capture humor, too, and anything wondrous strange. Find Nakedeye17's shop here.

A good tribute there, especially the last one.
Perfect.
