Wanderings: Ireland

While I was browsing the POE Team photos on Etsy, this first image by caught my eye, taken in green, enchanted Ireland. Here are a selection of other fine POE photos from the Emerald Isle:

Wanderings: Lá ’le Pádraig! So who's drinking green beer and getting pinched tonight?

Happy St. Pat's-JudiFitzPatrick

According to Wikipedia, the sidebar states that celebrating Saint Patrick's Day consists of:

-attending mass parades
-wearing shamrocks
-wearing green
-and drinking alcohol!

Well, I guess that pretty much sums up the day for most of us! I mean, who doesn't love a day full of people wearing shamrocks and drinking copious amounts of green beer, irish stout and whiskey?

Seriously, this is one of my favorite holidays. Maybe it's because I am a mixture of aboriginal Taiwanese, Cherokee, Scottish, English, and Irish. Perhaps that wee bit of Celtic genetics makes it so! And Ireland is definitely on my list of must see places.

So, for those of us not lucky enough to be there right now, let's celebrate St. Patty's Day by taking a quick trip to Ireland, POE style! And if you are not wearing green whilst reading this, I've just pinched you on your bum!
