At Peace

POE Team member Cat Ludwig of CatLudwigStudio is no longer with us.

"After struggling for 15 years with extreme pain, and multiple chronic conditions, Cat could bear the burden no longer and took her own life Monday, April 19th." Cat's husband Warren Ludwig posted a message on her blog, you can read it here.

We would like to express our sadness, and offer our deepest condolences for her family.

Take a look at some of the work by this very talented photographer... She will be missed.

This is very tough news. May it give some solace to know that her spirit will live on in the fabulous photos she shared with the world. I, for one, feel privileged to have "met" her online with the Etsy POE group.
Peace.

Whoaaa... I can't believe this. Never saw this coming... She was a frequent supporter on my blog and always had an encouraging remark to offer. I can't imagine how her family must feel at this loss... I can only hope there will be feelings of happy times remembered, and some sense of peace that comes to all who loved her.

Such a tragedy. My prayers go out to Cat and all of her family. May God Bring Cat and her family peace and healing from all of this.
As a disabled person who deals with alot of pain, I know what it is like. I'm 47 and have had Crohn's Disease since I was 20. Severe Rheumatoid arthritis since 30, and severe bone degeneration of my cervical spine- muscle spasms for almost 15 years. I'm on so many meds from Chemo drugs to infusions every 6 weeks it would make your head spin. It's just such a tragedy she had to end her own life, so sad.
