Wonderful selections! These sorts of images are fun and thought provoking at the same time. What did the artists have to do to create the image? What was the intended message? What does the image mean to me? Very cool!
I love this collection. Seeing many of these amazing images has given me inspiration and insights into ways of doing things that I might not have considered before. Thank you so much for including me in this chilling collection!
P.S. Your pairings of images with quotes are on-point. Loved it :)
Agree completely about the quotes, and what an honor to be included in this eerie lineup. I was already a fan of gothiccrow's work but cool to discover these other artists too. In answer to your question, PhotoGrunt, I use mainly TtV (through the viewfinder) backgrounds and manipulate "spirits" from vintage or original photos in with Photoshop. I'm not sure I have a message, just giving a modern spin to the old tradition of "spirit photography," which has long fascinated me...
Hi all! Thanks, I am so glad you like the post!
Steve- I agree, manipulated stories often leave me with wanting to know more. The stories these all told were very intriguing.
Tavi- Yes, very inspiring shots!
DNoyes- Thanks for the info! Your work is fabulous!!
Great collection of scary, yet thought provoking images!
The quotes SO enhance your photo selections. Love it!
